Our IT, Telecoms and Media group is closely linked to the firm's Intellectual Property and Competition practice groups. Legal know-how in protecting and enforcing IP rights is crucial for advising our clients on the creation, allocation and exploitation of property rights in the relevant industries. Our expertise is aimed at advising, negotiating and implementing transactional structures and practical solutions that effectively address our clients' goals.

This practice group offers a wide range of transactional and regulatory work in technology, media and telecom matters, such as outsourcing, hosting and ASP, online services, mobile entertainment, broadcasting, media and convergence issues, e-commerce, telecom regulatory and transactional work, ICT contracts, complex IT projects, public procurement, software development, licensing and distribution structures, strategic business alliances and joint ventures.

We have significant experience in outsourcing arrangements (both IT outsourcing and BPO transactions) for national and multinational enterprises, including telecommunication network outsourcing, global telephony outsourcing, network communication and other managed services contracts. In our outsourcing practice, we regularly advise on business process and IT arrangements also in regulated industries, such as banks, securities dealers, insurance companies, postal services and telecommunications.

As regards media and entertainment law, we advise companies active in both print and electronic media, especially television, radio and cinema operators, on regulatory, licensing, advertising and sponsoring issues as well as content regulation and liability aspects.
