Cécile Berger Meyer elected as new Partner

We have pleasure in informing you that Cécile Berger Meyer became partner of our firm on 1 May 2013.

Cécile Berger Meyer studied law at the University of Fribourg. She completed her legal training in Geneva within Lenz & Staehelin’s real estate and mergers & acquisitions departments between 2002 and 2004 and was subsequently admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2004. She then continued working within Lenz & Staehelin’s real estate and mergers & acquisitions departments as an associate lawyer, before obtaining her LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2006.

Since then, she has been part of Lenz & Staehelin’s real estate department. In 2010, Cécile Berger Meyer was granted the title of Certified Specialist in construction and real estate law by the Swiss Bar Association (SBA). Cécile Berger Meyer advises both private and institutional clients in the field of real estate law, and in respect of both civil matters (purchases, sales, structuring and financing) and administrative law matters (planning, construction licences, restrictions on acquisitions). Cécile Berger Meyer is also a judge with the Geneva Conciliation Commission for leases and rents and is on the committees of several professional organisations active in the real estate sector.
