New Counsel: Jamar E. Brown and Bruno Vigogne

We have pleasure in informing you that Jamar E. Brown and Bruno Vigogne became counsel of our firm.

Jamar Brown specializes in international aspects of private client practice and dispute resolution. He regularly advises trust companies and family offices on financial account information exchange regimes, including the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's Standard for the Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information. He also coordinates cross-border litigation for private clients and corporate trustees, and has been involved in international arbitrations throughout Europe. In addition to his private client work, Jamar Brown also acts for international organizations in employment disputes before the Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization. He obtained a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in 2005 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006. Jamar Brown joined Lenz & Staehelin's office in Geneva in 2007.

Bruno Vigogne is Counsel in the Banking and Finance practice and is in charge of coordinating the Investigations practice in Geneva. He advises clients in large-scale internal investigations as well as in matters involving white-collar crimes, corporate governance and compliance issues. Bruno Vigogne graduated from the Universities of Cergy and Nice and was admitted to the Paris bar. Prior to joining Lenz & Staehelin he was Sector Compliance Officer and Director of Investigations for a leading European multinational technology group in the field of transport and energy. In charge of the Energy sector, he had a worldwide responsibility for assessing and monitoring integrity compliance. Bruno Vigogne specializes in international anti-corruption investigations, including those in connection with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the British Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the World Bank, the European Investment Bank and in targeted AB-C investigations of overseas projects. His activity further includes conducting compliance program evaluations and corporate compliance monitorships.
