The 34th Annual Advanced Course on International Trust and Estate Planning organized by the American Law Institute will take place on 1-2 November 2018 at the Parc 55 Hotel in San Fransisco, California.
Mark Barmes will participate to this event as a Faculty Member. He will be attending the following panels:
- "Planning for U.S. Clients Who Are Beneficiaries of Foreign Non-Grantor Trusts" (1 November, at 8.30)
- "Tax Transparency and Compliance" (1 November, at 13.30).
- "Developments in Anti-Money Laundering Rules, Transparency of Beneficial Ownership, and Ethics" (1 November, at 15.30)
The International Trust and Estate Planning course is meant to provide information and practical strategies required for advising both U.S. and international clients. This year’s program will be focusing specifically on foreign related trust issues, inbound planning issues, compliance and ethics issues, and outbound planning issues.
