Swiss companies are confronted with a growing number of ESG regulations in Switzerland, but also in other jurisdictions in which they operate, most notably in the EU. These new ESG regulations increase compliance risks if not properly implemented.

Lenz & Staehelin partners Astrid Waser, Patrick Schärli and Dominique Müller will provide an overview on ESG-related compliance and reporting topics, environmental litigation risks and discuss the risks of non-compliance. Apart from legal compliance, the "transition to net zero" requires companies and investors to take action that go beyond the pure legal reporting requirements. Our guest speaker Mirjam Staub-Bisang, CEO of BlackRock, Switzerland will outline the investors' view.
