Hanno Wehland

Dr. Hanno Wehland is admitted as an attorney in Germany, England & Wales, and Switzerland, and has extensive experience of commercial and investment arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining Lenz & Staehelin in 2016, he worked with the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague and leading international arbitration practices in London and Paris. He has acted as party representative and tribunal secretary in numerous major international disputes, including proceedings under the Energy Charter Treaty, the NAFTA, and various Bilateral Investment Treaties. He has published on a broad range of international arbitration issues, taught classes on investment arbitration at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and given guest lectures at several universities. He is a regular speaker at international arbitration conferences.
