Reference is made to Lenz & Staehelin’s memorandum of April 2014 which provided an overview of the key aspects of the new Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Act ("FMIA") as they relate to derivatives. On September 3, 2014 the Federal Council adopted the final draft of the FMIA ("Draft") and the respective Federal Dispatch that will form the basis of the debate in parliament.
