    Daniel Schafer ist Partner und diplomierter Steuerexperte. Als stellvertretender Leiter der Private Clients-Gruppe berät Daniel hauptsächlich zu steuerlichen und rechtlichen Fragen im Zusammenhang mit Privatkunden (UHNWIs und/oder Unternehmern), mit einem besonderen Fokus auf Vermögens- und Nachlassplanung sowie auf Immobilienthemen (Transaktionen, Strukturierung und Erwerb). In diesem Zusammenhang ist er zudem in der nationalen und internationalen Besteuerung von Unternehmen tätig (einschließlich M&A, Restrukturierungen, Standortverlagerungen und Private Equity) sowie im Bereich der Schweizer Mehrwertsteuer, häufig aus der Perspektive der spezifischen Bedürfnisse von Unternehmern und Gesellschaftern. Obwohl sein Haupttätigkeitsbereich in der nationalen und internationalen Steuerplanung für Privatpersonen sowie in der Besteuerung von Unternehmensumstrukturierungen und -übernahmen liegt, ist Daniel ebenfalls auf Erbrecht und Nachfolgeplanung spezialisiert, einschließlich Fragen des Trustrechts.
