COLTENE acquires 40% stake in Rio de Janeiro based Vigodent S.A. and strengthens its market position in Brazil and Latin America

COLTENE Holding Ltd., a leading developer, producer and distributor of dental consumables acquired a 40% stake in Vigodent S.A., a Rio de Janeiro based distribution partner of COLTENE. COLTENE has an option to expand its stake in Vigodent S.A. to 100% over the next two years. The transaction closed on July 1, 2009.
