Farnair Group sold to ASL Aviation

On December 4, 2014, the sale of the Swiss passenger and cargo air carrier Farnair Group to ASL Aviation Group was completed after the required regulatory approvals had been obtained. The Farnair Group operates a fleet of 20 cargo and passenger aircraft and provides a wide range of aviation services across the world. The transaction brings together a total of seven affiliated airlines, a fleet of 80 aircraft and approx. 1,500 employees under the Dublin based ASL Aviation Group.
