Participation to Euromedic's buy-out

Lenz & Staehelin advised Ares Life Sciences, an investment vehicle established by the Bertarelli family, which acted together with Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity in the acquisition of Euromedic International Holdings B.V., a pan-European healthcare services provider headquartered in Budapest, from its current shareholders. The aggregate acquisition price for Euromedic amounted to about EUR 800 million.

The Lenz & Staehelin team was led by by Jacques Iffland and included Leila Hawa, Marie Berney (all corporate), Benoît Merkt and Stéphanie Buchheim (competition) and Jérôme Piguet (tax).
