Qualcomm acquires kooaba

Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), acting through its Qualcomm Connected Experiences, Inc.  subsidiary, successfully completed the acquisition of kooaba AG, Zurich, for an undisclosed consideration. Qualcomm is the world leader in 3G, 4G and next-generation wireless technologies. kooaba, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) develops image recognition technology.
