Sale of Schild AG

Lenz & Staehelin advised Barclays Private Equity in a secondary MBO transaction whereby investment funds managed by Barclays Private Equity sold for an undisclosed purchase price their majority stake in Schild AG, one of the leading Swiss fashion retailers for women’s and men’s clothing, to Stefan Portmann and Thomas Herbert, Managers of Schild AG, and EGS Beteiligungen AG, an affiliated company of the Ernst-Göhner foundation.
