Sale of Swissport International AG

On February 17, 2011, Ferrovial, the Spanish leading infrastructure group, completed the sale of Swissport International AG, the world's largest airport ground handling company, to the French private equity company PAI Partners SAS for a purchase price of CHF 900 million.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Ferrovial on the Swiss legal aspects of this transaction, Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira being the overall lead counsel. The team was led by Andreas Rötheli (M&A) and included Marie Berney.
