Share Placement of Valora with Credit Suisse and UBS as Joint Bookrunners

On November 16, 2020 Valora Holding AG (SIX:VALN) successfully completed the private placement of 400,000 newly registered shares sourced from existing authorized capital and 40,000 treasury shares by way of an accelerated bookbuilding. Credit Suisse and UBS acted as Joint Bookrunners in connection with this share placement. Valora intends to use the proceeds from the share placement to increase its financial flexibility in the persistently dynamic environment, to protect against planning uncertainty and to be able to implement strategic priorities to continue the strengthening of Valora's market position. The newly issued shares are expected to be listed and admitted to trading on SIX Swiss Exchange on November 19, 2020. Payment and settlement are expected to take place on or around November 19, 2020. Following the issue of the new shares, the number of issued Valora shares will increase by 10%.
