The Swiss Competition Commission fines the Swiss Post

The Swiss Competition Commission has fined the Swiss Post in the amount of CHF 22.6 million for granting allegedly abusive discounts to large business customers on letters and bulk mail. In the opinion of the authority, the Swiss Post violated Swiss competition law because the rebates in question discriminated between its customers and obstructed a competitor. The Swiss Post rejects these allegations in their entirety and appeals the decision to the Swiss Federal Administrative Court.

Lenz & Staehelin represents the Swiss Post. The team is led by Marcel Meinhardt (partner) and includes Felix Prümmer (counsel), Désirée Stebler and Damian Joho (associates), all Competition.
