Vaudoise acquires Swiss fund manager

Vaudoise Assurances Holding SA has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of Berninvest AG and Dr. Meyer Asset Management AG, having both their corporate seat in Berne, from their current shareholders. The completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Berninvest manages the real estate funds “Immo Helvetic” and “Good Building” with total assets under management of more than CHF 1,4 billion. Immo Helvetic is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and has an annual performance of more than 8% since 2010. The acquisition will allow Vaudoise to diversify its business strategy as it will be able to provide asset management services to third-parties.

Lenz & Staehelin advises Vaudoise in this transaction. The team is led by partner Andreas Rötheli (Corporate and M&A) and includes associates Roman Graf and Ralph Kaufmann (both Corporate and M&A) and Christelle Conti (Asset Management/Regulatory).
