Emmi acquires Hochstrasser

The SIX-listed Swiss dairy specialist Emmi Group acquires the renowned Lucerne-based coffee roaster Hochstrasser AG. The acquisition will boost Emmi’s coffee expertise and the innovative strength of its iconic Emmi Caffè Latte brand.

Lenz & Staehelin advised and represented Emmi Group in this transaction with regard to the merger control proceedings before the Swiss Competition Commission. The team was lead by Marcel Meinhardt (partner) and comprised of the associates Sandro Travaglini, Ueli Weber and Tizia Scharf.
