Cité Gestion becomes CMTA-certified issuer of tokenized shares

Cité Gestion SA, a Swiss bank and wealth manager, has issued its shares in the form of ledger-based securities (a process often referred to as "tokenization") and obtained the CMTA.Tokenized Shares certification. Cité Gestion is the first bank to secure the certification, which is issued by the Capital Markets and Technology Association.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Cité Gestion in the process. The team was led by Ariel Ben Hattar (FinTech/Corporate and M&A) and included Fedor Poskriakov (FinTech) and Yaël Nahmani (Corporate and M&A).
