Cross-border mergers of Amundi ETF

Lenz & Staehelin acted as counsel to Amundi Asset Management, Paris, in connection with the merger of 33 Amundi Exchange Traded Funds (“ETF”), organized as French individual collective investment schemes and approved in Switzerland for distribution to non-qualified investors, with 33 new ETF sub-funds of the Luxembourg SICAV, Amundi Index Solutions. The mergers took place between January and April 2018. As part of this merger process, the  relevant ETF were delisted and the new sub-funds of the Luxembourg SICAV listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
