Hotel de la Paix, Geneva, to become the first Ritz-Carlton partner hotel in Switzerland

On October 19, 2015, Ritz-Carlton and the Manz family announced the signing of an agreement which will add the five star luxury Hotel de la Paix in Geneva as partner hotel of Ritz-Carlton as of December 16, 2015. Following an extensive renovation, the hotel is scheduled for re-launch at the end of 2016 as "The Ritz Carlton, Hotel de la Paix Geneva" – the first hotel in Switzerland to be operated under the highly exclusive Ritz-Carlton brand.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marriott, on all relevant legal aspects of their contractual agreements with the Manz family.
