Vat Holding sold to Capvis and Partners Group

On December 5, 2013, the shareholders of VAT Holding AG and funds advised by Capvis and Partners Group entered into a definitive agreement regarding the sale and purchase of all shares of Vat Holding, Haag, Switzerland. Vat is a global market leader in the development, manufacture and sale of vacuum valves for the semiconductor and vacuum coating industries as well as for the research sector, with annual sales of more than 300 million Swiss Francs and a staff of over 1,000 employees.
