BNP Paribas Cardif Acquires AXA Investment Managers

Lenz & Staehelin advised BNP Paribas in connection with the merger filing in Switzerland relating to the acquisition of AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) by BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas.

The transaction is valued at approx. EUR 5 billion and has closed as of July 1, 2025. The team consisted of Partner Astrid Waser and Associate Sandro Travaglini (both Competition).
