Merger of private banks Gonet & Cie SA and Mourgue d'Algue & Cie
Mourgue d’Algue & Cie, a Geneva-based private bank created in 1869, will merge into Gonet & Cie SA, also a Geneva-based private bank created in 1845. As a result of the merger, Gonet & Cie SA, the surviving entity, will manage assets estimated at more than CHF 5 billion. The transaction is subject to approval from the regulatory authorities.
