Public tender offer for Orascom Development Holding AG

On 17 December 2024, LPSO Holding Ltd published a public tender offer for all publicly held shares of the SIX-listed Orascom Development Holding AG (“Orascom”). Orascom is a leading international developer specializing in vibrant, integrated communities in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. LPSO Holding Ltd is the primary holding company of the Sawiris family which in turn is the majority shareholder group of Orascom.

The offer price of CHF 5.60 per Orascom share represents a premium of approx. 40.7% to the 60-day volume-weighted average share price prior to the prospectus. Subject to the offer condition, closing is expected to occur in March 2025.
