Swiss Competition Commission imposes low fines on Hallenstadion and Ticketcorner

After a judgment of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court in 2020, the Swiss Competition Commission has now imposed fines on both Hallenstadion (the main concert venue in Zurich) and Ticketcorner (a major ticketing company in Switzerland), albeit very low ones. The authority concluded a settlement with Hallenstadion, in which Hallenstadion committed to behavioral measures, and held that Ticketcorner abused a dominant position. The parties may appeal the decision to the Federal Administrative Court.
