SWX-listed Galenica acquired MediService AG

Galenica AG acquired Swiss pharmacy MediService AG from its previous shareholders. The purchase price was not disclosed.

SWX-listed Galenica is a diversified group in the healthcare market, which among others develops, produces and distributes pharmaceuticals. MediService was founded in 1997 and generated sales of CHF 88.4 million in 2006.

Lenz & Staehelin advised the sellers. The legal team was led by Beat Kühni who was supported by Maja Baumann.
