BMG to acquire certain music and image rights of Tina Turner

On October 6, 2021, BMG, one of the world's largest media companies, announced that it has acquired an extensive portfolio of rights related to the music and image of Tina Turner for an undisclosed consideration. Among other rights, the transaction covered Tina Turner's solo works comprising ten studio albums, two live albums, two soundtracks, and five compilations, which together have sold over 100 million records.
