Lenz & Staehelin advised Swissquote on the creation of Yuh, its digital banking joint venture with PostFinance

On 4 May 2021, Swissquote and PostFinance announced the launch of a new Swiss digital banking application called "Yuh", which makes it possible to carry out a wide range of retail banking operations from mobile devices.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Swissquote on the establishment of the joint venture and banking solution. Jacques Iffland was the lead partner. The transaction team was led by Emilie Jacot-Guillarmod and Ariel Ben Hattar. Benoît Merkt, Johana Cau and Christophe Moser advised on the competition law aspects and assisted with the Swiss merger control procedure relating to the approval of the joint venture by the Swiss competition authorities.
