He has extensive experience in representing clients in a variety of corporate transactions, concentrating on mergers & acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters. Tino Gaberthüel is regularly involved in key transactions in the Swiss market, both domestic and cross-border. He represented, among others, Baloise on its acquisition of devis.ch, Bubble Box and Movu, Rothschild in the sale of its global trust business, Hyundai Motor in its minority investment in GRZ Technology and its joint venture with H2 Energy, The First International Bank of Israel in the sale of its Swiss operations, PubliGroupe's board in connection with the competing public tender offers by Swisscom and TX Group, Tetra Pak in its acquisition of Miteco, and Julius Bär in the acquisition of the International Wealth Management business from Bank of America. He also serves as an independent board member of Saxo Bank (Schweiz) AG. Besides his corporate practice, Tino Gaberthüel lectures at the LL.M program of the University of Zurich and at the Advanced Master Studies of the Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ and is a regular contributor in legal text books and law journals.
